you proclaim yourself a quantum entity
and place yourself in the cat's box
demoanding the whole extent of freedom
allowed within the fabric of probabilities
psychological time no longer concerns you
as each decision now rises from a virgin state
thermodynamic time leaves you be
like you always thought was the case
that your mental construction work
would in someway challenge the spread of
entropy

see
what keeps you turning in your bed at night
is the increasing focus on the very pillar
without which your treasures only appear
afloat
in inertial frame free fall
and then some night
you finally see the shape
of the chain of negations
or rather, of a shaking pile of tortugas
running all the way down
to appear
at the howling void
the dices were cast into hidden corners
if they ever even landed
and yet those long cherished laws never vanish
you climbed out of swamps and monkey fur
to savor the ultimate freedom
of the lone molecule
to recognize yourself as a system
with the same basic laws
generating inherent responsibilities
in the grand chamber
the golden quill was set on paper:
teleology
the chains are there alright
hence liberation's exercised
the emancipation from naught
requires structures to be wrought
other than that

so, you never built a labyrinth
you just slowly arrived at the observation
a conclusion perhaps
labyrinth vehicle
it built it
a vehicle of rationalizations
ever churning bits and pieces
being a mind
only a part of it
under the illusion of wholeness and control
labyrinth vehicle
to dismantle it
that which is it in time
a four-dimensional machine
an object eluding direct monkey observation
by its form as such alone
to learn, to chase the walls shifting
it built it
to tear down would be to mindlessly
self-destruct
frustration
panicked occult mentations
the damned vehicle keeps eating you alive
circuiting the energy, the life force,
the pure stuff of stars and ants alike
but you, you chase the machine, exhausted
to learn is to chase the walls shifting
to understand that it is no outside thing
the vehicle was built upon you
to build a vehicle to build a labyrinth
to unbuild itself
can indeed be a task of freedom
